Rising Of A New Generation

On the 27th Feb 2010, we have full house attendance as my place was packed all the 20 seats was taken. I thanked Jesus our Saviour, Master and Lord for His unfailing mercy and grace. I could feel the presence of God in our midst as we gently lift up His name, Jesus came into our meeting place. Seeing so many hungry heart and thirsty soul responding to Him only with very basic facility we have here in Powerhouse(my humble home) my soul praise The Living God. This is a dream come through as the Lord has placed this dream in my heart to plant His Church in the midst of the community, I am glad that I have responded to His sweet gentle whisper with faith of a size of a mustard seed.

As Powerhomies we believe God has a plan for us and we will continue to walk in humility and discovering His wonderful plan for our communities. I want to praise Him for His wonderful provision cause we started off with the little saving of mine, and God begin to pour His limitless resources into Powerhouse. During the second day of Chinese New Year, my precious mother in law Angela(non-believer) ask me whether the house have enough chairs to accommodate the Powerhomies, I was sitting at the back of car while enjoying the view the wonderful green scenery of Segamat oil palm estate after our visited to Ah Ma(My wife's grandma) house in Labis. I was reluctant to answer her question cause I dont know where I am going to get money to buy those chairs, she said: If you need chairs GO and BUYLAH! I was stunt and jumping up and down inside my heart(still with my seatbelt on). sounded like the words of Jesus. Go and make disciple. The instruction was simple and yet powerful, she was saying don't worry about money I will pay for it.

Coming from my mother in law is rather a big deal for me, I dont usually talk to her much about our personal journey with God but the Lord can use anyone at anytime at all. The problem is we try to firgure how He should work and provided for our needs, I don't know how to describe my feeling....just simply amazingly AWESOME! Mother in Law ROCKS! So is an ANG POW from my Mother in Law for Powerhouse. So we got 12 RED chairs(I am no M.Utd fan) but those are the best quality plastic chairs money can buy, Powerhouse is truly a family value centred church. I like the way Powerhouse started, just similar to what happen after the day of Pentecost, believers gathering in homes to worship and growing in His Grace. I want to say Thank you Jesus, it was a wonderful journey of trusting HIM without holding back.

Many other people rallied with me and prayed with me to see God's mighty power display through our lives. We have to get the house ready for God's Glory encounter, not too bad I have my wife and few other homies to help and were ready for Jesus to manifest His presence. I have invited some friends to join us in this first celebration service and he had a wonderful time together, everyone was blessed and stayed back for MAKAN as my precious Mother had helped us prepared some delicious hot curry chicken(my favourite since childhood) and some fried Vermelli with eggs and fresh cut chilly topping(the best of the two world). My wife made the best Orange cake and fresh lemon Iced tea. The service ended early so that we have ample time to fellowship.
